Hello,

Here are your last three vocabulary lists.  I will not meet with you again for class, so you are on your own for these.  Stay vigilant until your test, and keep up your vocab practice.  You will be rewarded on the test and in life, when you can impress bosses, professors and first dates with the right word for every occasion!

Please take time this week to take a practice test.  When you finish, jot down a few notes about the experience. What did you find easy?  What did you find frustrating?  Bring in your score and your reactions by Saturday, March 31.

In addition to practicing vocabulary this week, please also do your college research (see post titled "College Research"), and take a practice exam online.  Write down or print the results of your practice exam.

Please look up three of four colleges that you would be happy to attend, and that serve your personal and career interests.  Be ambitious, but realistic.  Next week, bring a list of schools you researched and their average SAT scores.

Make flashcards of these new words, and review your flashcards three to four times everyday.  When you feel confident about these words, add the words from Hit Parade #1, and see how you do with both lists combined.
